RESUMO

A partir de uma revisão teórica sobre as características do jornalismo cultural e, neste, as peculiaridades de sua versão on line na internet, o presente artigo desenvolve um estudo comparativo do uso de suas potencialidades em dois cadernos de cultura existentes em periódicos diários: o canadense Arts & Life, do jornal The Gazette - Montreal, da província de Québec e o brasileiro Cultura, do jornal Hoje em Dia, do estado de Minas Gerais. Apesar de algumas diferenças mínimas verificadas na versão impressa para a versão on line destes cadernos, a pesquisa revela que, em ambos, há pouco aproveitamento das possibilidades, especialmente as multimidiáticas, do ambiente on line para notícias relacionadas à área cultural.

RESUME

From a theoric review about some characteristics of the cultural journalism and, in it, some peculiarities of its on line version on the internet, the present research develops a comparative study about the use of its potentialities in two cultural sections in daily periodics: the canadian Arts & Life, from The Gazette - Montreal newspaper, from Québec Province and the brazilian Cultura, from Hoje em Dia newspaper, from the state of Minas Gerais. Despite some minimal differences verified in the press version and its on line version in those sections, this research revels that, in both, there is a few utilization of the possibilities, specially the multimidiatic ones, for the on line environment to the news related to cultural issue.
